Bank Muamalat Implements Logistics Cooperation With Pos Indonesia

JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk has collaborated in the logistics sector with PT Pos Indonesia. It was stated that this collaboration was in order to improve the quality of Bank Muamalat's goods and services delivery services throughout Indonesia.

Bank Muamalat Operations Director Wahyu Avianto said Pos Indonesia is a leading logistics service company and has a long experience in this industry. According to him, Pos Indonesia has a wide and representative network of office and postal agency services.

"We are proud to be able to collaborate with Pos Indonesia as an experienced state-owned logistics company. We hope this collaboration will be able to improve the quality of banking services and hopefully can continue to a wider business ecosystem," he said in a written statement on Tuesday, January 10.

On the same occasion, Pos Indonesia Director of courier and Logistics Business Siti Choiriana welcomed the collaboration with Bank Muamalat.

PT Pos Indonesia and Bank Muamalat actually have a long history of previous cooperation. The existence of this collaboration is more assertive and expands the scope of the cooperation that has been established so far," he said.

For information, the synergy between Bank Muamalat and Pos Indonesia has been established since 2003. Starting with the cooperation of the savings product sales network and the opening of Bank Muamalat outlets at the Pos Indonesia branch office. Followed by online payment cooperation through more than 4000 post offices throughout Indonesia.

Meanwhile, in the third quarter of 2022, Bank Muamalat recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of IDR 40 billion or grew 332 percent year on year (yoy). Meanwhile, total assets recorded to grow by 15 percent yoy from IDR 52.1 trillion to IDR 59.7 trillion.
