Asa Will Exploration Of Meulaboh And Singkil Oil And Gas Blocks, Governor Of Aceh Please Bring Benefits To The Community

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources signed a Profit Sharing Contract for the Two Working Areas (WK) Results for the 2022 Phase I Live Offering Auction. Among them are WK Offshore North West Aceh (Meulaboh) and Offshore South West Aceh (Singkil).

KKS ini memiliki total investasi komitmen pasti senilai 30 juta dolar AS dengan bonus tandasan sebesar 100.000 dolar AS.

Aceh Governor Achmad Marzuki who witnessed the signing of the PKS said the two WKs were the first oil and gas exploration areas for the south west coast of Aceh. For this reason, he welcomed the oil and gas exploration activities carried out in Aceh.

"Basically, we, the Aceh Government, strongly support this exploration activity in the future which will be carried out by pantas Asia," he said in his remarks quoted on Friday, January 6.

Marzuki hopes that this exploration activity will bring good results for the Aceh Government and the surrounding community.

For this reason, he hopes that in the future there will be more exploration activities from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. "We hope that in the future there will be more oil and gas activities from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in our place so that Aceh Province will move forward," concluded Marzuki.

The potential FOR ONWA (Meulaboh): oil is 800 MMBO and gas is 4.8 TCF. Meanwhile, OSWA (Singkil): oil is 1.4 BBO and gas is 8.6 TCF.

The two signed WKs are WK offered by the Government through the 2022 Phase I Live Offering Auction for the period July - September 2022 and the winner has been announced on November 3, 2022.
