Lion Air Make Sure There Is No Delay In Flights In The Middle Of Extreme Weather

JAKARTA - Lion Air Group ensures that there will be no delays in flights or delays, along with the extreme weather forecast at the end of 2022 issued by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

President Director of Lion Air Group Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi said the entire Lion Air Group, both Batik Air, Lion Air, Wings Air, and Super Air Jet, would continue to fly on schedule.

Even so, Daniel continued, his party will be very concerned about the safety or safety of passengers.

"The weather is that we always from the beginning to the end of the monitor and now the conditions are like now, it's raining, but it's still in the safe category to fly. No, no (there is delay), we have anticipated it. Stay safe, which is our concern," he told reporters, Wednesday, December 28.

Furthermore, Daniel said that his party had been monitoring the weather since the formation of the Darian Typhoon in the Indian Ocean last week.

Daniel also said that his party would continue to coordinate with the BMKG and international weather providers to monitor weather movements.

"We continue to monitor it. So the safety of passengers is our priority. Then also from side 2 to the next 3 days, hopefully the weather will get better again," he explained.

Daniel said that his party had also instructed all Lion Air Group pilots regarding the decision to fly properly from each fleet.

"Obviously, everything depends on the decision on the pilot. Staying a priority is safety," he said.
