BUMN Houses Present In Belitung, Special Staff Of The Minister Of SOEs Promise MSMEs Go Global

PANGKALPINANG - Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga stated that the presence of a BUMN House in Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, can be a forum for the development of MSMEs, to realize the "go global" MSMEs in Laskar Pelangi Country.

"In the future, MSMEs fostered by BUMN houses are targeted to "Go Global" to participate in exhibitions and exports abroad," said Arya Sinulingga in a press statement reported by Antara from Pangkalpinang, Sunday, December 18.

He said the inauguration of the Belitung BUMN House initiated by SOE Minister Erick Thohir was a forum for the development of MSMEs on Belitung Island. The Ministry of SOEs through PT Timah presents this BUMN House as a form of the commitment of the Minister of SOEs in building the MSME ecosystem in Indonesia.

"This Belitung BUMN house is the 4th BUMN house in Bangka Belitung Province and its presence on Belitung Island is a gift for MSME actors because it is a forum for the development of the first SOE assisted MSMEs in Laskar Pelangi Country," he said.

According to him, currently, the Belitung BUMN House is fostering 22 MSMEs with various categories, food and beverages, handicrafts, and clothing to improve the welfare of MSME actors with a target of 500 assisted MSMEs.

"We believe this MSME can go global, because BUMN houses have adequate infrastructure and various facilities to support the increase in the capacity of small and medium industries," he said.

For example, from the MSME workshop (training) to the seminar room as a place to collect their various innovations and ideas, the display room (showout room), to the BUMN millennial basecamp.

Not only that, according to him, the affairs of capital to access to marketing goods and services produced by MSMEs can also be facilitated through the Belitung BUMN House later.

"With this encouragement from SOEs, we hope that people will use the existing facilities as well as possible so that MSMEs can continue to accelerate," said Arya.

He stated that through the BUMN House, MSME actors were able to improve themselves so that they could advance to class, through training, mentoring, business incubation, networking, and even expanding market access both nationally and internationally.

"MSMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy that must be maintained," said Arya while conveying a message from the Minister of SOEs. The establishment of BUMN Houses throughout Indonesia, he continued, including in Belitung, aims to increase the capacity and capability of MSMEs in Indonesia.
