BPH Migas Note Pertalite Consumption Until November 2022 Capai 26.90 Million KL

JAKARTA - Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) Erika Retnowati reported that the consumption of Pertalite's type of fuel oil (JBU) until November 30, 2022 reached 26.90 million kiloliters (KL) or 89.94 percent of the quota.

"Pertalite has distributed 26.90 million KL or 89.94 percent of the prognosis quota until December 29.51 million KL," Erika said in a Hearing Meeting with Commission VII DPR RI quoted, Friday, December 9.

Meanwhile, certain types of fuel (JBT) subsidized diesel fuel have been distributed at 16.02 million kiloliters (KL) or 89.85 percent of the total quota set in 2022.

Meanwhile, 0.443 million KL has been distributed, or 91.34 percent of the quota with the prognosis until December 2022, which is 0.49 million KL.

Erika explained, BPH Migas also predicts that Pertalite's distribution until the end of the year will reach 98.66 percent with a remaining quota of 0.4 million KL, Solar will be distributed 98.20 percent with the remaining 0.32 million KL and kerosene distributed 101.03 percent with a remaining 0 KL quota.

"It is estimated that until the end of December 2022, diesel oil will be distributed at 17.51 million KL, then kerosene at 0.49 million KL and Pertalite 29.51 million KL," said Erika.

Erika revealed that JBU's total sales from six business entities in the third quarter of 2022 reached 19.17 million, with details of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga of 17.04 million KL, AKR 1.24 million KL, ExxonMobil 719,000 KL, Shell 127,3800 KL, PT Aneka Petroindo Raya 14.40 thousand KL, PT Vivo Energy Indonesia 26.37 thousand KL.
