This Company Owned By Puan Maharani's Husband Earned IDR 1.33 Trillion In Revenue In The Third Quarter of 2022

JAKARTA - The company owned by Puan Maharani's husband, Happy Hapsoro, PT Rukun Raharja Tbk. (RAJA) managed to record revenue of US$87.87 million or the equivalent of IDR 1.33 trillion in the third quarter of 2022. Meanwhile, RAJA's net profit was recorded to have skyrocketed 4,245 percent to US$4.59 million, or the equivalent of IDR 70.06 billion.

Based on RAJA's financial report, quoted on Thursday, December 8, the company recorded an operating income of US$87.87 million, equivalent to IDR 1.33 trillion, an increase of 17.24 percent from the same period last year. In 2021, RAJA posted revenue of US$72.72 million, or equivalent to IDR 1.03 trillion.

RAJA's revenue consists of gas sales, toll fee revenue, operating maintenance, gas compressor revenue, and others. In detail, RAJA's gas sales increased 14.19 percent to US$73.82 million, toll fee revenue rose 16.58 percent to US$6.59 million, operating maintenance skyrocketed 396 percent to US$2.12 million, gas revenue compressors rose 6.49 percent to US$1.9 million, and others increased by 1,619 percent to US$ 3.41 million.

Furthermore, RAJA recorded an increase in the cost of revenue from US$62.51 million to US$73.63 million in the third quarter of 2022. This made RAJA's gross profit increase 39.61 percent to US$14.24 million.

After deducting various expenses that can be streamlined, RAJA posted a profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of US$4.59 million in the third quarter of 2022. This figure skyrocketed to 4,245 percent from US$105,747.

Meanwhile, RAJA's total assets increased 2.14 percent from US$250.85 million at the end of 2021 to US$250.85 million in the third quarter of 2022. On the other hand, total liabilities increased 2.07 percent from US$122.96 million on December 31 2021 to US$120.46 million on September 30, 2022.

Then for cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year, there was a decrease of 24.1 percent from US$41.35 million to US$31.38 million.
