Bring A Budget Of IDR 140 Billion To Become Partner Country At Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia Will Show The Concept Of IKN

JAKARTA - The Director General of Resilience, Region and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry Eko SA Cahyanto said, Indonesia will display the concept of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in the Hannover Messe 2023 event. At the event which will take place on April 17-21, 2023, Indonesia will become a partner country (partner country).

"In addition to presenting industrial estates and special economic zones, what is special is that we will also present the concept of IKN," said Eko in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 6.

He said this concept was seen as special to display because IKN was prepared with several approaches, ranging from the approach to sustainability, efficiency, ease of access, and low-emission aspects, to connectivity.

"All the technology is in Hannover Messe. With this showcase, we hope that IKN development can be more accelerated," said Eko.

Furthermore, said Eko, Indonesia can certainly prove to the world the efforts that have been initiated to become part of the world's economic power by 2030.

Eko also explained that Indonesia was again chosen as a partner country for Hannover Messe in 2023 face-to-face, after previously with the same position in 2021.

Indonesia is known to appear in the world's largest technological event in Hannover, Germany, on 17-21 April 2023.

According to Eko, tens of millions of people have visited the Indonesia exhibition as a country partner in Hannover Messe 2021, both virtually and partially face-to-face.

The event was considered a success because it was able to bring investment to the country, which is one of the largest investments for semi-conductors.

"Our performance proves and convinces technology providers, investors to secure their investment in Indonesia, because they believe Indonesia is a place for their industry to welcome the future," said Eko.

Then, Eko added that the Ministry of Industry had received budget approval through the DPR for the implementation of the Hannover Messe amounting to Rp140 billion.

"So, we will finance all the booths, so the exhibitors just have to come and bring their goods there," he added.

In addition, the budget is also used for organizing seminars, conferences, and logistics costs.

The 3,200 square meters of land that will be occupied by Indonesia as a country partner.
