Based on a written statement quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 1, the infrastructure improvement project whose work starts only tonight will increase the road capacity of 1,700 square meters in areas that are often inundated by sea water due to tidal flooding.

Tidal floods have the potential to reduce concrete performance and cause corrosive damage in them so that they require special materials so that construction has high durability.

Therefore, roads will be built with fireCRete, namely solutions to problems that arise in the work of concrete structures in areas with high sulfate and chlorite content.

The iron inside the building structure will be safe from penetration of sulfate and chloride which can cause corrosiveness.

This is because you have the advantage of being resistant to penetration of sulfate and chloride, low permability, durable, easy to work, low risk, strong high pressure and strong high bending.

The rate of utility of the shotCrete solution is also higher than that of ordinary concrete, which makes maintenance against sulfate and chloride attacks very minimal which is ultimately able to save total cost ownership.

This step has been taken by PLP and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Highways Office in 2019, namely to develop this solution through a mockup trial on Jalan Kamal Muara, West Jakarta.

In addition, SIG has also been actively involved in the revitalization project of sidewalks, city parks, and green open spaces (RTH) in DKI Jakarta, Depok to Bandung since 2016 until now.

In all these revitalization activities, PLP applies environmentally friendly concrete products such as ThruCrete or porous concrete, LocooCrete or low concrete carbon emissions and environmentally friendly cement for the revitalization of sidewalks and other violent areas.

GIS's contribution in sidewalk revitalization activities includes the Gelora Bung Karno Senayan area, Kebayoran Baru area such as Blok M, Barito and Melawai as well as the MRT Line area such as the Roundabout of Youth Statues to Fatmawati Station.
