JAKARTA - President Director of PT PLN (Persero) Darmawan Prasodjo again won an award for successfully bringing the company to the best performance thanks to the transformation carried out in all business lines.
Darmawan received the Top 100 CEO 2022 award from Infobank Media Group.
Chairman of Infobank Media Group, Eko B Supriyanto said, Top 100 CEOs have become an annual event to determine the best company leadership.
"I believe that those here are figures who respect Infobank, figures who will contribute. And I am sure that Indonesia will become a very large country," said Eko.
Darmawan admitted that he did not expect to receive this award. He said this award would be a whip for PLN to be even better.
"This is a whip for us so that this achievement that has been inscribed can be strengthened, strengthened so that PLN in the future will be more agile," said Darmawan.
He explained, for 2.5 years PLN carried out massive transformation.
One of these transformations is through digitization in various aspects, from generators, transmission, finance, procurement to services to customers.
"Business processes that were previously complicated, business processes that were previously complex, we dismantle them, we summarize them, we simplify them," he said.
Now, said Darmawan, PLN is much better and healthier than 2.5 years ago.
He said that PLN managed to cut its debt of IDR 62.5 trillion even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2021, PLN can reduce operational costs of IDR 7 trillion.
"Our electricity system is much more reliable than last year's electricity system. Our finances are much healthier. Our customer service system is much better orientation to provide premium services to our customers," said Darmawan.
He said, customer satisfaction also increased. This is reflected in the rating of the PLN Mobile application which was originally 2.5 to 4.8.

"Today's PLN Mobile download rate has reached more than 33 million downloads with a very high level of satisfaction," he concluded.
