Hutama Karya Kebut Pembangunan Jalan Tol Trans Sumatra, Ini Progresnya!

JAKARTA - Construction SOEs, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) have received an assignment from the government to build the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS). Until now, Hutama Karya has completed about 570 kilometers (km) and targets that there will be several toll roads completed in 2023. Hutama's President Director Karya Budi Harto explained that the latest development or progress of JTTS construction is the operation of the Taba Penanjung-Bengkulu Toll Road. "This is already operational but has not been inaugurated," he said in a meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, Wednesday, November 16. Budi said Hutama Karya had completed about 570 km consisting of a 17 km Medan-Binjai Toll Road that had been operating. Then, Pekanbarui 131 km has been operational. Then, Palembang-Indralaya 22 km and is already operational. Then, TB Besar-Kayu Agung 189 km is already operational, and Bakauheni-TB Besar 141 km is also operational. Then, Budi continued, several toll roads are also still in the construction stage. First, the Indralaya-Muara Enim toll road where land acquisition has reached 96 percent and its construction is 85 percent. "Then, Padang-Sicin has also started again, 72 percent land and 45 percent construction development," said Budi.

Furthermore, Pekanbaru-Pangkalan is 64 km long. Currently, land acquisition is 75 percent, and construction is 80 percent. Then, Kuala Tanjung -TB Tinggi Siantar is 93 km long, land is 93 percent and construction is 70 percent. Then, Kisaran-Indrapura is 48 km long, land acquisition progress is 40 percent and construction development is 64 percent. Then, Binjai-Langsa (Section Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan) along 58km, 74 percent land and 57 percent construction. For this toll road, it has been operational for 12 km. Furthermore, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road is 74 km. The development of land acquisition is 99 percent and construction is 91 percent. This toll road has also been operating for 36 km. "God willing, this section will be completed in mid-2023. Except for the section to Padang-Sicincin, which yesterday there was a slowdown in land delivery, will only be completed in 2024," explained Budi.
