Will Release At The End Of November, The Ministry Of Industry Conducts Socialization Regarding IKI To All Stakeholders

JAKARTA - In the framework of launching the Industrial Trust Index (IKI) at the end of November 2022, the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has held a kick off meeting on Monday, November 7, hybridly and technical guidance for offline filling out the Industrial Trust Index (IKI) questionnaires on Tuesday, November 8.

"This kick off meeting is aimed at socializing the Industrial Trust Index to all stakeholders," said Head of the Ministry of Industry's Data and Industry Center (Pusdatin), Wulan Aprilianti Permatasari, in a written statement, quoted Thursday, November 10.

Meanwhile, the Technical Guidance for Filling in the Industrial Trust Index (IKI) is intended to socialize IKI and its filling procedures, especially to industrial companies in Bandung City, Bandung Regency, and West Bandung Regency.

The Industrial Trust Index (IKI) launched by the Ministry of Industry is an indicator of the level of confidence or level of optimism of the manufacturing industry towards economic conditions.

It is also an illustration of the condition of the manufacturing industry and the prospects for business conditions in Indonesia for the next six months.

Later, IKI reporting will be carried out by industrial companies through online questionnaires which include the identity of the company, the development of industrial activities, the development of new order volume, and the development of production volume.

Unlike other reportings that have many questions or contents, reports of industrial activities only have five questions and there are options for answers, so even though they are asked to do it monthly, they will not increase the burden on the industry because it only takes less than 10 minutes.

"Furthermore, during the reporting period, the Ministry of Industry will continue to carry out socialization and technical guidance simultaneously," concluded Wulan.
