Indra Karya Is Appointed To Work On Basic Infrastructure Project At IKN Nusantara

JAKARTA - PT Indra Karya (Persero) together with PT Jaya CM, PT Bemaco Rekaprima, and PT. Geornap International Consultant officially joined the Master Construction Management Package in the basic infrastructure development process to support the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago.

Director General of Cipta Karya Diana Kusumastuti said this project was the first experience for all. Especially in building the National Capital City (IKN).

"For this reason, all consultants who handle the Main Construction Management (MK) need to carry out good and adaptive governance in their work and maintain the ecosystem environment at the project site," he said in an official statement quoted on Monday, November 7.

Diana said that the Parent Constitutional Court as a whole integrated the supervision of the development of the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) in the National Capital of the Archipelago.

"This activity aims to integrate and transform the implementation of work in all sectors at KIPP IKN Nusantara," said Diana.

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has designed the infrastructure development of IKN Nusantara to be carried out in stages by carrying out the concept of a 'Future Smart Forest City of Indonesia' so that it still pays attention to environmental aspects.

In the initial stage, namely 2022-2024, the development that will be the priority of the Ministry of PUPR includes KIPP covering an area of ​​6,671 hectares. Therefore, development is obligated to maintain environmental ecosystems, not to cut down trees indiscriminately and to plant trees in related areas," Diana said.

In line with the statement from the Director General of Human Settlements, President Director Indra Karya Gok Ari Joso Simamora said that with the commencement of the Main Construction Management work for KIPP IKN, it is hoped that the governance of development implementation can be organized in such a way as to obtain the desired results.

"To be able to achieve this goal, we need to pay attention to the quality of the building, the cost used, the implementation time by taking into account the environmental aspects of the environment so that IKN development can run optimally and be integrated into a sustainable manner according to the targets set by the Ministry of PUPR," said Gok Ari.

Gok Ari hopes that Indra Karya and several other companies can play an important role and minimize risks in terms of quality, physical construction, cost, time, and aspects of sustainable environmental management in an integrated manner in the construction of KIPP IKN Nusantara.

The implementation of this activity has gone through various processes of procurement of goods and services where PT Indra Karya (Persero) as a BUMN Construction Consultant has also participated in the tender process for the procurement of goods and Master Construction Management Services in KIPP IKN development activities in accordance with the Letter of the Chairperson of the TPBJK for Capital Infrastructure Country Number: PB.0201- Kg/TPBJK Bid.
