JAKARTA - Chief Executive of Banking Supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Dian Ediana Rae said all banks, both commercial banks and Rural Banks (BPR) in the regions must consciously assist people with disabilities in obtaining direct access to financial services.

Dian said that banks must have service standards and infrastructure that make it easier for people with disabilities to access financial services, both deposit products and business capital support in the form of credit/financing for people with disabilities.
Meanwhile, Head of BUMD Bureau, Investment and Development Administration Lusi Lesminingwati said that the West Java Provincial Government, apart from having regional regulations that require public facilities to provide easy access to persons with disabilities, also opens ASN recruitment specifically for persons with disabilities.
"The West Java Provincial Government also encourages the use of MSME products made by people with disabilities," said Lusi.
In the framework of the 2022 Financial Inclusion Month, PT BPD West Java and Banten, Tbk (BJB) and the West Java IJK Communication Forum (FKIJK) held a Joint Financial Facilities of the Disable Community at the OJK Regional 2 West Java Office, Bandung City.
