Regsose Data Collection Titles From October 15 To November 14, BPS Rekrut And Train 400 Thousands Of Officers

JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has provided training to the 400,000 officers recruited to retrieve data on Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek).

"In the preparation of the Regsosek, BPS recruited approximately 400 thousand officers and we have provided professional training by instructors who are also professionals throughout Indonesia," said Head of BPS Margo Yuwono in Bincang-Bincang Regsosek quoted by Antara, Monday, October 10.

With this structured training, he hopes that every officer will retrieve data and dig up information in the same way throughout Indonesia.

Regsosek data collection will begin on October 15 to November 14, 2022, through the door to door of the census using Paper and Pencil Interviewing (PAPI) which is equipped with geotags and special photos for poor families.

The information to be collected includes population and employment, housing conditions, health and disabilities, social protection, and economic empowerment.

So if you look at the variable coverage collected, this indicates the use of data is very broad. Regsosek data is not only for one ministry, but can be shared by several related ministries," he said.

The expected response from the Regsosek data collection is in the form of community classification into extreme poor groups to the upper middle class.

The data collected from the Regsosek program will then be integrated with data from the Directorate of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as data from other ministries and institutions.

The Regsosek data is also expected to be utilized optimally in accordance with the plans that have been carried out.

"We also need to start thinking about how we collaborate to update data that will need to be done regularly together," he said.
