Food Station Salurkan Bantuan Sembako Untuk Warga 4 Kecamatan Terdampak Weatherektrem

JAKARTA - Heavy rain accompanied by lightning to lightning and strong winds has hit several parts of Indonesia recently, including Jakarta. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has appealed to the Indonesian people to remain alert to the potential for extreme weather to the impacts that will occur, such as floods, fallen trees, and landslides which are expected to occur until October 8, 2022.

In Jakarta, the extreme weather has affected several areas by flooding. Care for residents affected by the extreme weather, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya distributed basic food assistance in 4 sub-districts in South Jakarta, namely Pasar Minggu, Kebayoran Baru, Pancoran and Mampang Prapatan.

The four sub-districts were chosen because they were considered the most affected by extreme weather. The extreme weather was in the form of a very high volume of rain which eventually resulted in flooding.

President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Pamrihadi Wiraryo said that in distributing the basic food assistance, the Food Station collaborated with Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC) and Kabapin traders who deployed 4 of their vehicles to support transportation for distribution.

This assistance is a form of concern for the Food Station as BUMD Jakarta together with traders at PIBC and Kabapin in easing the burden on some Jakarta residents affected by extreme weather. This is also in accordance with the direction of Gubermur DKI Anies Baswedan so that the presence of BUMDs can be felt by residents of Jakarta," said Pamrihadi, Friday, October 7. The basic food assistance provided is in the form of 5 kg of rice, 1 liter cooking oil, 1 kg of white crystal sugar, indomie and 330 ml mineral water.
