Petrokimia Gandeng Kejari Gresik To Prevent Disruption In The Subsidized Pupuk Distribution

JAKARTA - A member of the PT Pupuk Indonesia holding (Persero), PT Petrokimia Gresik cooperated with the Gresik District Attorney's Office, East Java, to prevent disruptions to the distribution of subsidized fertilizers. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding by the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik Dwi Satriyo Annurogo and the Head of the Gresik District Attorney Muhammad Hamdan. "This extension of the cooperation is a step to optimize the company in carrying out the task of distributing subsidized fertilizers," he said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 28. He said that the company always ensures the availability of fertilizer stocks in accordance with the provisions and ensures the quality of fertilizers in buffer warehouses and agricultural kiosks so that fertilizers can reach farmers with 6T principles (right on-site, right on-price, right on-price, right-quality, right-type, and on-time). "For this reason, this collaboration is also an effort by PT Petrokimia Gresik to strengthen supervision and security of distribution and distribution of fertilizers in the Gresik area," said Dwi. He realized that in carrying out the government's mandate to distribute subsidized fertilizers and run the company's business, it certainly could not be separated from the risks and legal problems that might arise as a result of the company's operations. With this signing, Dwi hopes that we can overcome the legal problems of the company that arises together so as not to interfere with the company's operations. According to him, PT Petrokimia Gresik is a vital national object whose production operations must not stop in order to maintain national food security. This collaboration is an extension of the previous memorandum of understanding in 2016. As for strengthening supervision of subsidized fertilizer distribution, PT Petrokimia Gresik previously also collaborated with the Central Java Police, the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati), and the East Java Prosecutor's Office. "We will cooperate with many parties to increase supervision of subsidized fertilizers. The more proactive the supervision will be more stringent," said Dwi.
