JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that there are no restrictions on purchasing fuel oil (BBM) subsidies of the type Pertalite and Biosolar to the public at each Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) in Aceh. "There are no restrictions on the purchase amount," said Section Head Communication & Relations of Pertamina Sumbagut Agustiawan, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 6. Agustiawan emphasized that Pertamina had never issued any provisions related to limiting the purchase of fuel. It's just that, he said, the possibility of the gas station issuing this policy so that people don't spend too long refueling at gas stations and streamlining charging times. "We will coordinate further with gas stations so that they can carry out better queue maintenance," said Agustiawan. Earlier on Monday afternoon, people in Meulaboh, the capital city of West Aceh Regency, reportedly had restrictions on purchasing Pertalite type subsidized fuel from gas station officers, while refueling Pertalite type subsidies. "We complained because we could buy fuel at gas stations for only Rp. 200 thousand per vehicle and it couldn't be more. Even though the selling price of subsidized oil has gone up," said Edi, a motorist in Meulaboh, West Aceh. As a result of these restrictions, the public complained that the filling of subsidized fuel for each four-wheeled vehicle was reduced.
