Encourage Performance To Boost BRI's Cooperation With Indonesian Castrol

JAKARTA PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) has reached a cooperation agreement with PT Castrol Indonesia regarding the expansion of banking financing to distributors and lubricant outlets.

BRI's Director of Institutional and Wholesale Business, Agus Noorsanto, said the company is ready to support transactions in the business ecosystem of Castrol Indonesia, the MSME segment.

"The experience we have is an important asset so that PT Castrol Indonesia and its business ecosystem get benefits and businesses that are growing from this synergy," he said in a press statement on Thursday, September 1.

According to Agus, his party provides facilities for distributor financing, outlet financing and management of banking transactions with the company.

"BRI is committed to continuing to strive to meet world-class standards in supporting the needs of multinational companies," he said.

On the same occasion, Director of Castrol Indonesia Arif Lukas Darmawan stated that his party will continue to strive to find innovative solutions to the needs of our customers and business development.

"As a result of COVID-19, cash problems and credit risks arise for our distribution partners. We believe that collaboration with BRI will really help us in finding solutions to this problem," he said.

Arif added, this is a new step in business travel to improve financial services to Castrol partners in Indonesia.

This collaboration is expected to make it easier for distributor partners and retailer Castrol to do business in Indonesia. In the end, we expect positive growth as a result of the collaboration between PT Castrol Indonesia and BRI," he said.

For information, the agreement that was established contained the use of credit facilities and banking services specifically aimed at distributors and lubricant outlets of PT Castrol Indonesia.

The solutions offered are financial distributors (DF) and micro-financing-based financing outlets to optimize business capacity while increasing sales volume, as well as increasing financial management effectiveness and efficiency.

This collaboration will facilitate the management of financial transactions efficiently and ensure timely payment receipts through an integrated system. Meanwhile, cash management platforms (BRICAMS) and corporate billing management (BRICBM) provide flexibility to Castrol Indonesia and its distributors to make transactions anywhere and anytime including running transactions on holidays.
