JAKARTA - PT Pamerindo Indonesia is again holding the largest trade exhibition in Southeast Asia, Indonesia Energy & Engineering (IEE) 2022 Series which will be held on September 14 - 17, 2022 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. Pamerindo Country General Manager Ben Wong said there were more than 900 exhibition participants from 30 countries, and as many as 2,700 products and services to be exhibited, as well as various innovations supported by the latest technology. "We are present to fill 5 international-scale exhibitions, namely Electric & Power Indonesia, Oil & Gas Indonesia, Mining Indonesia, Construction Indonesia and Concrete Show Southeast Asia,” Ben said at a press conference, Wednesday, August 31. The Indonesia Energy & Engineering Series is a one-stop solution for various needs for stakeholders and business actors, ranging from program or product innovations to investment opportunities for the energy and construction sectors. Ben added that the IEE will be a driving moment for 5 industrial sectors that are members. This event is a form of Pamerindo's support for industry, investment as well as government programs in the era of industrial revival after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the return of the IEE is also a moment for the launch of various new products and services. "We believe as many as 25 percent of the total participants will launch their new products and an additional 6 percent, and will only be launched in Asia," he continued. He also believes that this event can be a place to provide solutions to the various challenges faced by the 5 industrial sectors, including the challenges in the transition/transition of energy that can be utilized optimally in order to drive the country's economy and the world. Ben further added that currently the energy transition from fossil to renewable energy is a serious concern by all parties. For this reason, the Government and associations as well as industry players are currently trying to make this energy transition. In addition, investors are currently placing high expectations on companies to take quick initiatives to support energy transition. "The new renewable energy (EBT) can be a solution in enriching the raw materials used, in line with the government's strategic plan in 2022 - 2024. In this plan, Indonesia has a target of 23 percent of the proportion of EBT from the total production of Energy in 2025 can be achieved, ” concluded it.
