JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has developed an online reporting application called the Electricity Electronic Reporting Management Application (AMPERE Gatrik).
AMPERE Gatrik is a periodic reporting platform submitted by business entities providing electricity to the government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Secretary of the Directorate General of Electricity, Ida Nuryatin Finahari, said that the AMPERE Gatrik application is expected to facilitate electricity supply business entities in submitting their business reporting obligations in accordance with regulatory provisions.
In Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing, business entities holding Business Licenses are required to comply with technical and operating provisions.
In addition, business entities holding business licenses are also required to submit periodic reports on their business implementation.
"For the electricity supply business, the provisions for detailed reporting obligations have been regulated in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 11 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Electricity Businesses," Ida said in a written statement, Wednesday, August 10.
AMPERE Gatrik, called Ida, provides convenience from the side of business actors in submitting business licensing reports.
"On the government side, this application is very helpful in the monitoring and evaluation process. It does not require re-entry reporting submitted by business entities, so it is more focused on analytical activities in supporting policy making," said Ida.
In addition to coaching, the government is also mandated to carry out monitoring activities for the electricity business to fulfill the obligations of the holder of a Business License in the electricity sector.
"In the event that the results of the supervision contain discrepancies or irregularities, the Government can impose sanctions against these discrepancies," said Ida.
Ida said that until now there are still many electricity sub-sector business entities that have not fulfilled the obligation to submit reports to the government.
"In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 11 of 2021, especially for those who have not submitted their reports, we hope that they can immediately report them electronically through AMPERE Gatrik," he said.
Meanwhile, Coordinator of Electricity Business Services Gigih Udi Atmo added, AMPERE Gatrik is a form of further transformation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) where the government in the field of administering risk-based licensing has all been held online and electronically.
Gigih said, AMPERE Gatrik is a form of further transformation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in which the government in the field of administering risk-based licensing has all been held online and electronically.
"This aims to make it easier for business entities to both obtain permits and submit reports, and also to make it easier for us from the government side to conduct guidance and supervision," said Gigih.
