JAKARTA - Serang-Panimbang Toll Road Section 3 of Cileles-Panimbang is officially built.
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut B. Pandjaitan requested that the construction of the toll road be completed according to the set target, which is in 2024.
The construction of the 83.67 km Serang-Panimbang toll road infrastructure is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) which is divided into three sections.
Luhut also said that the Serang-Panimbang Section 3 toll road is a new chapter for Banten for the economic growth of the tourism sector.
Luhut said economic growth in Banten Province was better than national economic growth.

In addition, Luhut is optimistic that this area will become a tourist destination.
"I hope that this toll road will make this area a tourist destination, because the distance is not too far from Jakarta, which previously took 5 hours to travel by land to 3 hours," he said.
On the same occasion, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said the construction of the Serang-Panimbang toll road would be completed around the first quarter of 2024.
"Of the total toll roads, 26.5 km of Serang-Rangkasbitung have been in operation, section 2 of Rangkasbitung-Cileles of 24.17 km is under construction with progress of more than 30 percent and section 3 of 33 km is connecting Cileles-Panimbang," he said. Basuki.
