JAKARTA - The airline of the Lion Air Group owned by conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, Batik Air announced, starting Tuesday, August 2, 2022, they will serve international routes to South Asia. Batik Air flies to and from Kempegowda Bengaluru International Airport, also known as Bangalore (BLR), the capital and largest city of Karnataka, the southwestern state of India.

"Batik Air on the route to Bangalore supports government programs in each country (Indonesia, Malaysia, and India) in the global economic recovery phase," said Batik Air CEO Capt. Mushafiz Bin Mustafa Bakri in his statement, quoted on Wednesday, August 3.

For this new route flight service, Batik Air operates the latest generation and modern Boeing 737 series aircraft which are sent directly from the aircraft manufacturer. Batik Air also offers special one-way flight ticket prices with the following details:

From Jakarta

1. Jakarta to Bangalore starting from IDR 2.458.300

2. Bangalore to Jakarta starting from IDR 3.137.700

From Bali

1. Bali to Bangalore starting from IDR 2.536.300

2. Bangalore to Bali starting from IDR 3.312.000

From Medan

1. Medan to Bangalore starting from IDR 1.941.150

2. Bangalore to Medan starting from IDR 2.722.600

According to Mushafiz, the new destination city offers opportunities for tourists and business people from Indonesia through three departure cities, namely: central Indonesia – Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten (CGK).

Eastern Indonesia - Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar in Badung, Bali (DPS) and western Indonesia - Medan, Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (KNO).

Batik Air, said Mushafiz, continues to develop its international network gradually through the opening of new routes to Bangalore in India which are directly connected from Jakarta, Bali and Medan, Indonesia with a transit first in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
