JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) has established Electric Vehicle Digital Services (EVDS) as one of the electric vehicle service platforms.
This step was taken by PLN to improve customer experience by digitizing and integrating all customer service systems for users or potential users of electric vehicles.
EVDS was launched by PLN to coincide with PLN E-Mobility which is the largest electric vehicle exhibition in Bali.
This EVDS can answer the needs of people who need services related to electric vehicles.
PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo explained that in providing the best service to customers, we continue to improve digital services through PLN Mobile.
This EVDS will be a one stop solution for people who want to switch to electric vehicles.
"It is easier for the public to get electricity services, especially for electric vehicles. If you want to add power, install new ones, or even buy electric vehicles, you can use EVDS which is integrated with PLN Mobile," said Darmawan in his statement, Monday, July 25.
In this EVDS, the public can directly access the need for spare parts or buy two-wheeled electric vehicles directly from PLN partners such as GESITS, Viar, Unwinfly and Volta. In addition, for four-wheeled vehicles, PLN has started to cooperate with Nissan, Hyundai, Wuling, DFSK, Mitsubishi, Toyota.
In addition, there is also a Mercedes-Benz that will soon be present at PLN Mobile.
EVDS becomes an aggregator for EV maintenance service providers and spare parts replacement.
Through this EVDS, the public can immediately get information services and transaction systems at the charging station.
Customers can also directly make charging transactions at Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU), which directly monitors the amount of power consumption.
For owners of two-wheeled electric vehicles, EVDS also provides direct access to Volta's SWAP and General Electric Vehicle Charging (SPBKLU).
"In all EVDS systems, vendors for EV services are well integrated. We do this collaboration to make it easier for customers," said Darmawan.

EVDS is also directly integrated with PLN Mobile SuperApps. The platform created by a subsidiary of PLN, PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON+) is expected to make it easier for the community to meet the needs of electricity services as a whole.
Currently, PLN Mobile has been downloaded by 26 million users with more than 38 million registered customer IDs. Through PLN Mobile, it is easier for the manufacturing industry to market their electric vehicle products. This synergy can accelerate the massive electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.
