London Sumatra, Palm Oil Company Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim Wants To Distribute Dividends Of IDR 347.92 Billion, Check Out The Distribution Schedule!

JAKARTA - The palm oil company from the Indofood group belonging to conglomerate Anthony Salim, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) or Lonsum has completed holding the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2021 financial year. One of the results of the AGMS decision is that the company will distribute a cash dividend of IDR 51 per share.

LSIP's share price is in the range of IDR 1.230. This means that LSIP's dividend yield is 4.15 percent.

"The cash dividend distribution of Rp51 per share will be paid on August 19, 2022," said PP London Sumatra Indonesia President Director Benny Tjoeng in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted Monday, July 25.

Based on LSIP's financial report, dividend payments are equivalent to 35.17 percent of earnings per share in 2021, with a total paid-up capital of 6.82 billion shares, meaning that the total dividends reached IDR 347.92 billion.

"We express our appreciation and gratitude for the continued support and trust from all Lonsum shareholders during these difficult times," said Benny.

LSIP also remains focused on controlling costs and efficiency, increasing productivity, and prioritizing capital expenditures. Benny promised to continue implementing good agricultural practices in a sustainable manner as part of his sustainability approach.

To note, Lonsum is a diversified agribusiness company with palm oil, rubber, cocoa, and tea commodities. Lonsum produces CPO from palm oil mills located in Sumatra and Kalimantan. Lonsum also operates a rubber processing facility, a cocoa, and tea factory.

In addition to dividends, the AGMS also accepted the resignation of all members of the Company's Board of Commissioners and Directors in connection with the expiration of their term of office since the closing of the AGMS. LSIP appoints and appoints new members of the company's Board of Commissioners and Directors for a term of office starting from the closing of this AGMS until the closing of the company's AGMS in 2025, with the following composition:
