Good News From Batik Air, The Airline Owned By The Rusdi Kirana Conglomerate Will Open The Kualanamu-Kuala Lumpur International Route Starting July 25

JAKARTA - Batik Air from the Lion Air Group belonging to the conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, starting July 25, 2022, it will open non-stop international flight routes for the full/premium service airlines category from Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (KNO) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA, Malaysia (KUL), flight frequency is once per day.

Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro in a written statement, Thursday, July 14, said that the ease of flights to Malaysia from western Indonesia was considered faster as needed.

"People from various cities in Indonesia, domestic tourists and business people from Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Meulaboh, Simeulue, Sibolga, Gunung Sitoli, Silangit, Pekanbaru, Padang, Palembang, Batam, Jambi, Bengkulu, Tanjung Karang-Lampung, Bangka, Belitung and other cities by stopping (transiting) first at Kualanamu International Airport," said Danang.

On the same occasion on July 25, Batik Air will increase the frequency of flying the Jakarta route via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten (CGK) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

"The addition of flying on this route (CGK - KUL), is expected to further facilitate the mobilization of business people and tourists, especially from central Indonesia such as Bandung, Solo, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Pontianak, Palangkaraya, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Tarakan and other cities," explained Danang.

As for the Kuala Lumpur Round Trip (PP) route, Batik Air will operate Airbus A320 (12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-800NG (12 business class and 156 economy class seats). This fleet is a modern and new generation delivered from aircraft manufacturers.

The entire fleet is equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters. The HEPA filter helps keep the air in the cabin clean and filters more than 99.9% of viruses, germs, insects and bacteria.
