President Director Calls KAI Collaborating With The Operator Of The Malaysian Railways To Prepare The Jabodebek LRT Organizers

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) continues to make various preparations for the operation of the Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT), one of which is the preparation of Human Resources (HR). KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo said that KAI collaborated with rail operators in Malaysia, namely the Malaysian Berhad Infrastructure to prepare the Auto Rail and Automatic Control Organizers of the Jabodebek LRT. "This collaboration is one of KAI's efforts to provide a safe and safe Jabodebek LRT service," said KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo when opening training at the Bandung KAI Pusdiklat, quoted from Antara, Thursday, July 7. Didiek said that the Malaysian Berhad Infrastructure was chosen because it is a train operator who has experience in operating trains automatically that implements the Grade of Automation (GoA) 3 system since 1998. This synergy and collaboration will increase knowledge and experience related to the handling of the GoA3 system which will later be very useful in the operation of the Jabodebek LRT. The 92 workers will attend theoretical training in Bandung followed by practices in Malaysia. The participants will receive material regarding the functions and ways of operating GoA3 infrastructure, the GoA3 signaling system, the GoA3 routine book in the operation of GoA3, handling during emergency conditions, implementing Standard Operating Procedure, and others. Didiek added that the Jabodebek LRT will be operational by KAI in the near future. The assignment of the National Strategic Project to KAI will be carried out in a mandate and full of responsibility in the midst of various challenges that exist. "KAI is grateful for the mandate given by the government, where KAI will later serve the community through the Jabodebek LRT which is the most modern rail transportation because its operations will take place automatically without a driver," he concluded.
