Member Of Commission VI Asks Pertamina Socialization MyPertamina Masifly

JAKARTA - Member of Commission VI DPR Nasim Khan emphasized the importance of massively socializing the use of the MyPertamina application to four-wheeled vehicle owners.

As is known, as of July 1, Pertamina implemented a purchase of subsidized fuel using the MyPertamina application.

"Actually, the most important thing is the socialization, ma'am, so that it doesn't get too excited, everything is socialized. Actually we already have infrastructure, Pertamina is extraordinary. If I'm not mistaken, there is more than 7,000 gas stations infrastructure," said Nasim in a hearing meeting of Commission VI DPR RI with the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), President Director of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi and President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, at the Nusantara I Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday 6 July.

According to him, the lack of socialization has caused the public to be more noisy.

Moreover, continued Nasim, the use of MyPertamina when filling up fuel requires people to use smartphones at Oil Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) which has been considered dangerous so far.

He considered that socialization is important so that people also understand how the security aspects when using the MyPertamina application at gas stations.

"If we go to a gas station right now, if we want to call, it will be stopped immediately, 'Sir, sorry, turn off the cellphone, turn off the engine'. Now people are confused, with us using MyPertamina automatically using the program on our cellphones, people don't know what the system is," he said.

The same thing was conveyed by a member of Commission VI Deddy Yevri Hanteru Sitorus.

According to Deddy, currently the essence of using the MyPertamina application, which actually wants subsidized fuel to be right on target, is actually more focused on technical use of the application.

"Pertamina focuses on its application, it's ok, but there must be socialization and education to the public, not just by Pertamina," said Deddy.

In addition, cooperation with local governments is also considered important. The hope is that socialization can be accepted until the community at the lower level.

"This must be done consistently continuously, if necessary in all village offices, in all village halls, or wherever it is, just stick to the information about this subsidy, it will be easier," he concluded.
