Realization Of PPS Regional Office Of DJP East Java II Reaches IDR 1.25 Trillion Over The Last 6 Months

SIDOARJO - The realization of revenue from the voluntary disclosure program (PPS) for the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the East Java II DJP for the last six months amounted to Rp1.25 trillion, with the total value of net assets disclosed by taxpayers reaching Rp12.567 trillion.

Head of the East Java II Regional Tax Office Agustin Vita Avantin said, as many as 7,012 taxpayers in the East Java II Regional Tax Office participated in this program.

"The taxpayers are divided into 2,160 certificates for policy I and 6,233 certificates for policy II," said Vita, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, July 4.

He said, nationally the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Sri Mulyani accompanied by the Director General of Taxes Suryo Utomo announced the realization of PPS receipts nationally amounting to Rp. 61.01 trillion, with a total number of participants there were 247,918 taxpayers (WP).

"We would like to thank all parties who have played a role in the success of PPS," he said.

According to him, the contribution of taxpayers in this program is a form of mutual cooperation to build the State of Indonesia.

"We really appreciate all parties, especially all taxpayers who have voluntarily participated in this PPS. Hopefully in the future taxpayers will be more obedient in fulfilling their tax obligations," said Vita.

Vita admitted, the participation of taxpayers increased significantly towards the end of the PPS period.

"Not to forget all tax officials, especially those in the East Java II Regional Tax Office, who have worked hard for the success of this program," he said.

Furthermore, Vita said, citing what was conveyed by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Sri Mulyani, after the PPS period ends, supervision and law enforcement at the DGT will be carried out based on a stronger database.

"As we said earlier during the roadshow in the context of PPS socialization, there will be no more amnesty programs after the PPS ends. Thus, all the data obtained will become the DGT database," he said.
