Government Prepares Face-To-Face Training Trial Scheme Of Pre-Employment Card

JAKARTA - The government is preparing a trial scheme for face-to-face or offline Pre-Employment Card Program training.

This is in line with the decline in COVID-19 cases in the country.

"We are preparing, just wait friends, let us PMO prepare what is needed in the field," said Executive Director of PMO Pre-Employment Card, Denni Puspa Purbasari at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Thursday, June 16.

Denni said, currently her party is still making various preparations. According to Denni, the implementation of face-to-face job training is still being tested. This is because it was done in a pandemic situation.

"We will be careful, we will try the pilot project first so that we learn for offline training, this is also for learning," she said.

Denni also said that she could not confirm when the face-to-face training would be held. "The PMO will wait from the Job Creation Committee when the time is right to do that," she said.

Training According to Market Needs

Meanwhile, the Head of the Pre-Employment Card Program Implementation Team, Rudi Salahuddin, said the face-to-face training would adapt to market needs.

Such as the type of work that is needed in a short time and can absorb many workers in the labor market.

"Later on, we will focus more on offline training for jobs needed in a short time and in the future," said Rudi.

For your information, the Pre-Employment Card Program is a work competency development program held by the government.

The targets are job seekers, workers or laborers affected by termination of employment (PHK), and those who need increased competence.

For the past two years, the trainings in the Pre-Employment Card program have been held online or through special platforms.
