Top! Polri Deposits IDR 2.5 Trillion To The State Treasury From SIM And STNK Cs Fees For Four Months

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) confirmed that state revenues deposited by the Indonesian National Police (Polri) continue to show encouraging numbers.

Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, said that the contribution of the National Police in supporting the state's finances grew 21 percent annually on average.

"For this year until April 2022, the Indonesian National Police has deposited IDR 2.5 trillion in PNBP (non-tax state income)," he said while attending a meeting with Commission XI of the DPR at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Monday, June 13.

According to Febrio, the largest source of revenue comes from traffic services with a percentage reaching 89 percent.

"Police PNBP policies will continue to be improved through SIM, STNK, SKCK, BPKB, and others services as well as the application of the use of online information technology," he said.

In general, the Ministry of Finance report states that the PNBP sector until April 2022 grew by 35 percent year on year (yoy) to Rp177.4 trillion. This book also supports the state budget surplus two months ago which was stated at Rp103.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, Polri's expenditure in the first four months of this year is known to be Rp. 8.4 trillion, or higher when compared to the same period in 2021, which is 6.7 trillion.

Police spending that grew positively was used for several strategic things, such as spending on facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) of Rp. 2 trillion and police and kamtibmas operations of Rp. 1.9 trillion.
