Pradiksi Gunatama Receives The East Kalimantan Provincial Environmental Award

JAKARTA - PT Pradik Gunatama Tbk (PGUN) is considered to have consistently demonstrated excellence in environmental management in line with the efforts of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) in encouraging corporate governance to manage the environment properly.

Along with the consistency of environmental management carried out by the issuer in the field of oil palm plantations and processing, the East Kalimantan Provincial Environmental Service determined that the Gunatama Prediction was included in the criteria for receiving the PROPER award.

According to PGUN's Corporate Secretary, Muhammad Reza, the Company Performance Rating Program (PROPER) is one of the efforts of the State Ministry of Environment and Forestry to encourage corporate governance in environmental management through information instruments.

Reza conveyed that the award was received by Pebrizal as Head of PGUN's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Division and Dedy Hari Suprianto as Head of the Company's Public Relations Division. The award was given at the Mercure Hotel Samarinda, East Kalimantan on Monday, June 6, 2022.

"Obviously, the award has a great impact on the Company, because in the Company's operational activities, our biggest impact is on the environment. In the future, it is hoped that the Company will be better at managing sources of environmental impact," said Dedy Hari Suprianto, in his statement, Monday, June 13. .

Furthermore, Reza said that in the near future PGUN will also receive Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification.

"This certificate has been required by the government through Presidential Regulation Number 44 of 2020, so this is positive news for shareholders and of course PGUN will continue to maintain corporate governance," said Reza.

Please note, on June 30, 2022, PGUN will hold an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), the agenda of which includes the approval of the Board of Directors' Report regarding the course of the business in 2021, the approval of the annual report and the appointment of a public accountant who will audit PGUN's Financial Statements for the 2021 Financial Year. It is hoped that the GMS will have a positive impact on the Company, considering the results obtained last year were very satisfactory.

On the same occasion, PGUN will also hold an Extraordinary GMS regarding the approval of the addition of the Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields (KBLI) to the Company's Articles of Association, approval to pledge most or all of the company's assets related to credit facilities from banks and the agenda for changing the composition of the Company's Board of Directors.
