The challenges of the building material industry are currently getting tougher, this encourages all to think creatively and innovatively, how to find and optimize opportunities and turn challenges into opportunities so that the company can continue to exist and develop.
"We are all facing the industrial revolution 4.0, the era of digitalization where technological developments, information can facilitate and support the implementation of strategies and company performance achievements if addressed properly. These challenges make the SIG Group millennial an important role, which is expected to be able to provide a new color in the form of ideas and fresh thinking, so the company can continue to adapt and develop," said Donny Arsal.
Meanwhile, Special Staff III of the Minister of SOEs, Arya M. Sinulingga supports SIG's steps to provide opportunities for its employees to take education to a higher level. According to him, now the world has changed, COVID-19 has changed the situation, the environment, human resources, and the way of working has also changed.
Millennials must have a growth mindset, individuals who believe that talent can continue to grow, so that they are adaptive in dealing with disruptions that occur.
"Currently, many smart people in Indonesia have education graduates from abroad, which means there is more competition. So the transformation must be carried out like the Ministry of SOEs by making directors of BUMN companies from millennials, because their career tracks are faster. Second, after occupying the position of director, millennials This can make the company environment fun," said Arya Sinulingga.
In addition to gathering activities, the Millennials SIG Group also distributed 100 food packages to communities around the Gresik Factory, East Java. One basic food package contains 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 2 kg of cooking oil and 5 packs of instant noodles.
