Thai Lion Air, Airline Owned By Conglomerate Rusdi Kirana Starts Actively Flying Regularly From Terminal 3 Of Soekarno-Hatta Airport

JAKARTA - Thai Lion Air, a member of the Lion Air Group belonging to conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, has expanded its international flight coverage according to market dynamics and demands. The airline has started to actively fly regular routes from Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten (CGK) to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok, Thailand (DMK).

At the initial stage, it is served three times a week every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Meanwhile, if market demand is high or grows positively, Thai Lion Air will adjust its flight frequency service.

Capt. Darsito Hendro Seputro, Director of Thai Lion Air said, Thai Lion Air has seen the enthusiasm of tourists and business people to visit Thailand and explore various interesting destinations.

Later, tourists via Bangkok Don Mueang can connect to domestic Thai destinations, such as Bangkok - Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) to Chiang Mai - Chiang Mai International Airport, Northern Thailand (CNX), Surat Thani - Surat Thani International Airport, Phunphin District (URT), Ubon Ratcahani - Ubon Ratchathani Airport (UBP), Nakon Si Thammarat - Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport (NST), Hat Yai - Hat Yai International Airport (HDY).

"Gradually, Thai Lion Air will develop other destinations," said Darsito in his official statement, quoted Monday, May 9.

In offering the convenience of flying to Thailand, Thai Lion Air provides timet prices starting from Rp. 1.4 million for one way (one way). In meeting flight needs, Thai Lion Air provides flying facilities for free 20 kg baggage (all bookings free upgrade baggage allowance 20 kg).

As for providing a memorable and enjoyable flying experience, Thai Lion Air operates a modern generation of medium-bodied aircraft (narrow body) which are sent directly from the aircraft manufacturer. This fleet is in accordance with market needs, namely Boeing 737-800NG (189 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-900ER configuration 215 economy class seats.
