Good News From Singapore Air! Commercial Flights To Kualanamu Medan From 10 May

JAKARTA - Singapore Airlines (SIA) will restart commercial flights from Singapore to Medan (KNO) on May 10, 2022. The plan is that these flights will also offer consistent and better-connected products and services to customers across the SIA Group's network of companies.

SIA will operate two weekly flights from 10 May 2022 on the Singapore to Medan route.

"With the recovery of the international travel industry, the demand for tourist and business trips to visit Indonesia is also increasing," said General Manager of Indonesia Singapore Airlines Alvin Seah as quoted by Antara, Thursday 5 May.

Alvin added that the resumption of flights to Medan is part of the commitment of the SIA Group of companies to continue to provide flexibility and more travel options to our customers who want to return to visit and explore Indonesia.

SIA continues to monitor demand closely and will adjust its network periodically to align capacity with demand.

Information updates will be provided when flight frequency adjustments are made. Flight tickets between Singapore and Medan are already available and sold through SIA's various distribution channels.

SIA also claims that it has focused on redesigning and improving the travel experience for our customers since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We prioritize the integration of stringent health and safety measures and innovative digital initiatives throughout the journey from start to finish, providing better assurance and supporting a smoother travel experience during this time," said Alvin.

For detailed flight schedules from Singapore (SIN) to Medan (KNO) flight number SQ 0990 is carried out every Tuesday and Thursday with departure time from SIN at 07.40 local time and arrival time at KNO at 08.00 local time.

Meanwhile, the detailed flight schedule from Medan (KNO) to Singapore (SIN) is carried out with flight number SQ 0991 every Tuesday and Thursday, with departure time from KNO at 08.45 local time and arrival time at 11.05 local time.
