Good News From Super Air Jet, Airline Owned By Conglomerate Rusdi Kirana Starts Operations At Terminal 1A Soetta Airport Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr

JAKARTA - The airline belonging to the conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, Super Air Jet is operating at Terminal 1A of Soekarno-Hatta Airport starting Wednesday 6 April, in line with the plan of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) or AP II ahead of the 2022 Eid homecoming.

Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Agus Haryadi said that AP II carried out a rebalancing strategy at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in order to maximize the role of the three passenger terminals in supporting flight operations. He explained that the rebalancing strategy was aimed at dividing the roles of the three terminals to serve the departure and arrival of airplane passengers.

The rebalancing strategy is also one of the preparations for the largest airport in Indonesia in anticipating increased flight traffic during the Lebaran Transportation period, which is planned to fall in the period April 22 - May 13, 2022. The homecoming flow is estimated to occur from April 22 - May 1, 2022 and the return flow on April 4 - May 13, 2022.

"Airfast has started operating at Terminal 1 on April 1, then Super Air Jet starting today, April 6. Then, followed by Sriwijaya Air, NAM Air, and AirAsia Indonesia on April 12," he said in an official statement, quoted Thursday, April 7.

Furthermore, Agus Haryadi said that Terminal 1, especially Sub Terminal 1A, will serve flights from five airlines, namely Airfast, Super Air Jet, Sriwijaya Air, NAM Air, and AirAsia Indonesia.

By the end of March 2022 as air traffic increases, Terminal 2 serves about 75.000 passengers per day. In April 2022, after Terminal 1 is active, as many as 15,000 passengers per day will move from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1.
