Having Share Ownership Of IDR 478.9 Billion, Conglomerate TP Rachmat Leaves The Position Of Vice President Commissioner At Surya Essa

JAKARTA - Conglomerate Theodore Permadi Rachmat has resigned from his position as commissioner of PT Surya Essa Perkasa Tbk. TP Rachmat's last position was vice president commissioner.

TP Rachmat's decision was stated in a letter signed by Corporate Secretary Surya Essa Erfine Kumala Furi to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Wednesday, March 16.

"TP Rachmat submitted his resignation plan on March 16, 2022 and will be effective at the general meeting of shareholders (GMS)," wrote Efine.

Erfine added that there was no impact of the incident, information or material facts on the company's operational activities. Including no impact on the legal activities, financial condition or business continuity of Surya Essa.

As is known, apart from serving as vice president commissioner, TP Rachmat is also a shareholder of Surya Essa.

As of September 30, 2021, TP Rachmat is listed as having 634.43 million shares with the ESSA code. If it is associated with ESSA's current share price of Rp755, then the value of TP Rachmat's ownership reaches Rp478.99 billion.

With the decision to resign from the board of commissioners, it will be very interesting to look forward to how TP Rachmat will take his ownership of Surya Essa.
