Fantastic! OJK Spends Rp3.75 Trillion Budget For Employee Salaries During 2021

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) reports that the budget ceiling for employee salaries for the 2021 period is IDR3.75 trillion. This figure includes the budget for increasing employee capacity building which amounted to Rp. 97.2 billion.

Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Wimboh Santoso, said that the employee ceiling dominated the authority's budget absorption until the end of this year, which was stated to reach Rp4.86 trillion at the end of November 2021.

"The biggest thing (from budget realization) is the remuneration budget," he said in a working meeting with Commission XI of the DPR RI at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, December 9.

Wimboh ensured that the remuneration sector ceiling would be able to reach the target set at the end of December 31st.

“Employees' salaries will definitely be paid off because this is a clear prediction, how much will the salary be until the end of the year. All of this budget must be delivered,” he said.

For information, based on data from the authorities for the 2020 period that has gone through the audit process, it is known that the total OJK employees are 3,850 people. The number consists of 3,731 permanent employees, 84 employees with honorary status and certain time work agreements (PKWT), and 35 other agency employees employed by OJK.

Meanwhile, the total OJK budget for the 2021 working year is IDR 6.21 trillion. Until November 30, 2021, the budget absorption value was recorded at IDR 4.86 trillion or 78.28 percent of the budget provided.
