Good News From Super Air Jet, Rusdi Kirana's Airline Opens The Jakarta-Bali Route

JAKARTA - Super Air Jet has opened a new flight route, namely Jakarta-Bali through Terminal 2D of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.

The inaugural Super Air Jet flight from Jakarta to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport was carried out Thursday, November 18 2021 with an arrival time of 18.39 WITA and departed from Ngurah Rai Airport to Jakarta at 19.19 WITA using an Airbus A320 aircraft that can accommodate 180 passenger people.

"I welcome Super Air Jet as a new airline that has opened its first route to and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. This increases the number of airlines operating, so that it can provide various choices for air transportation service users", said the General Manager PT Angkasa Pura I I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, Herry AY Sikado, in Badung Regency, Bali, quoted from Antara, Friday, November 19.

He hoped that the inaugural flight would be a good start in an effort to revive the aviation sector and encourage an increase in tourist visits to the Island of the Gods.

"We continue to open up opportunities for airlines to develop their flight routes, to help the economic recovery of the people on the island of Bali due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic", he said.

Herry hopes that Super Air Jet can add more routes according to consumer expectations.

"Looking at the air traffic data at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in the last two months of 2021, there is an increase in the number of passengers compared to 2020 in the same period, passengers increased by 71 percent and aircraft also showed a positive growth of four percent", he said.

Currently, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport serves eight domestic airlines.

According to Herry Sikado, the presence of a Super Air Jet that fills flight slots to and from the island of Bali is certainly an option for prospective passengers.

"We as airport managers also appeal to passengers to continue to comply with health protocols using air transportation even though the COVID-19 case in Indonesia has been sloping", he said.
