JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto appreciated the holding of the 2nd Regional Conference on Industrial Development (RCID).

In his hybrid remarks at the Fairmont Hotel, Senayan, Wednesday 10 November afternoon, Airlangga Hartarto hoped that there would be a breakthrough in the commitment to accelerate the implementation of Industry 4.0, for inclusive and sustainable industries, as the theme of this conference.

"The shared vision, the spirit of collaboration, and the steps of togetherness are the main keys to the revival of the industrial sector in the Asia Pacific region, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic," said Airlangga in his opening speech.

The RICD was organized by the Ministry of Industry together with the United Nations on Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on Wednesday and Thursday, with the theme "Acceleration of Industry 4.0 for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrialization".
