JAKARTA - The virtual world is being shocked by the case of abuse by a childcareer from Malang, Aghnia Punjabi. Nia, as she was called, uploaded a photo of her battered child after being mistreated by a nanny.

From the photo, JAP, Aghnia's 5-month-old son, has severe bruises on his left eye, scratches on his right and left ear, and forehead.

According to reports, JAP was left at home with IPS and a relative of Aghnia. At the time of the incident, JAP locked the room from inside while other assistants of Aghnia's household and her brother were eating sahur.

The photo uploaded by Aghnia was immediately flooded with netizen comments. Most of them gave moral support to this celebgram. But in the midst of the feeling of being devastated to see his son being tortured, Aghnia also had to receive unpleasant treatment from netizens.

Not a few blame Aghnia for leaving their child to work. The judging comments of this celebgram are not just one or two.

Empathy is the ability to understand the perspective or views of others, as if putting yourself in someone else's position and feeling what others feel.

The ability to empathize is actually very much needed in dealing with other people. However, people with eccentric personality disorders tend to lack empathy for others.

According to Psychology Today, people with eccentric disorders are reluctant to show empathy for fear it is considered as one of the weaknesses.

On the other hand, what happened to Aghnia, and maybe another mother who was blamed for what happened to her child, realized that the womensupport women's slogan was just a dream. According to experts, the behavior of each other is rooted in sexism and misoganists who are strongly nested in the culture of our society.

Living in patriarchal society makes women often the target of discrimination and violence. Misogynist and sexist behavior is not only done by men, because women can also behave sexically and express hatred for others. So, instead of supporting each other, women can actually embarrass, shrink, and bring down others.

These values have rooted and influenced many of our people's cultures. Even from the family environment so that this has absorbed the sub-awarelam. As a result, maybe some of us are not aware that behavior is actually sexist and misogynist.
