JAKARTA - Positive patients for the corona virus or COVID-19 have surged so fast in a few days. Automatically, the spread of positive patient domicile is increasingly spreading. Jakarta is the province with the most positive COVID-19 patients.

Related to this, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan opened data on the distribution of districts infected with the corona virus based on the domicile of patients who have been tested positive or are still under surveillance (suspect).

Based on the distribution map released by the DKI Provincial Government, there are 17 red dots which are districts with positive COVID-19 patients. Then, there are 46 yellow dots, which means that they are still waiting for the results of the patient's test.

"This is the distribution of cases that are currently being examined, both those that are positive for COVID-19, and those that are awaiting results. The distribution is quite wide. A few days ago it spread to the southern region. Today, almost all sub-districts have (positive) cases," said Anies at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 13.

The distribution is that the positive COVID-19 sub-districts in North Jakarta are Tanjung Priok, Penjaringan, and Kelapa Gading. In East Jakarta, a sub-district that is positive for COVID-19 is in Kramat Jati. Meanwhile, Pulo Gadung, Pasar Rebo and Matraman Districts are still waiting for the results of the examination.

In Central Jakarta, Johar Baru and Menteng Districts are still waiting for the results. In South Jakarta, sub-districts that are positive for COVID-19 are in Pancoran, Kebayoran Baru, Kebayoran Lama, Mampang Prapatan, Cilandak. Meanwhile, Jagakarsa and Setiabudi are still waiting for the results. In West Jakarta, sub-districts that are positive for COVID-19 are in Cengkareng, Kembangan, and Kebon Jeruk.

Tighten policies

On Wednesday, March 11, Anies made steps to reduce the impact of COVID-19 transmission. First, Anies formed a team to review the licensing of activities held in Jakarta.

Second, Anies instructed the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government who have symptoms of fever, flu, and cough leading to COVID-19 to report their health condition to the DKI Health Office.

Furthermore, Anies eliminated the Motor Vehicle Free Day (HBKB) or Car Free Day (CFD) activities along Jalan Sudirman-MH for two weeks, namely March 15 and 22.

As of today, Anies is tightening his policies from before. There are several additional appeals that he issued. However, the policy did not lead to a lockdown. First, Anies asked all residents of DKI Jakarta to prioritize activities in homes and surrounding settlements.

"Reduce activities in crowded places. As much as possible limit interactions with large crowds, as much as possible do more limited activities," said Anies.

Meanwhile, community services such as sub-districts, sub-districts, mayor's offices, DKI City Hall, puskesmas, and hospitals continue to operate as usual. Public transportation also continues to serve passengers.

Then, Anies will close all tourist destinations and entertainment venues belonging to the DKI Provincial Government for two weeks, starting on Saturday, March 14 tomorrow.

"Tourist attractions such as Ancol, Ragunan, National Monument, and museums held by DKI are closed. The goal is to minimize residents' activities in open spaces full of residents," said Anies.

Then, Anies has prepared procedural protocols for events in offices, in housing, as well as for religious worship activities. This protocol is disseminated throughout the community through the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government.

Furthermore, Anies also asked all companies to start preparing remote working protocols for their employees as much as possible.

"Today there is no directive for staff offices to work remotely. However, the business world must start preparing. I urge everyone to prepare from now on so that we should not face this (contagion) situation. ready, "explained Anies.
