TANJUNGPINANG - Governor of the Riau Islands (Kepri) Ansar Ahmad, asked the state civil apparatus (ASN), especially those occupying certain positions, to resign if they do not want to work in accordance with their main duties and functions.

"If you don't want to work, please write a letter of resignation. There are still many ASN who are competent and willing to work," said Ansar Ahmad in Tanjungpinang, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 26.

Ansar conveyed this following news that a number of ASN personnel from the Riau Islands Provincial Government protested because they were transferred or transferred from one service position to another.

In fact, according to Ansar, mutations in government agencies are commonplace as a form of refreshment and promotion.

Although he did not deny that there were indeed some ASNs who were transferred on the grounds that they were not worthy and proficient in their work.

"For example, in the Education Office and the Health Office. I deliberately changed them because they couldn't carry out their duties properly, but there were no non-jobs, they still got positions after being transferred to other offices," said Ansar. Ansar has also repeatedly reminded all ASN Riau Islands Provincial Government as a public servant to be disciplined, obedient and obedient to all applicable work rules and regulations.

He emphasized that he would not hesitate to dispose of ASN who were proven to have committed violations.

"For example, ASN rarely enter the office. Get ready to be dealt with firmly," said Ansar.

The Golkar politician also confirmed that he will continue to evaluate the performance of all ASN to Echelon II, III and IV officials so that they can work as they should to support the visions and missions of the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Riau Islands Province.
