Residents with Difficulty Access, Tanjung Priok Immigration Officers Facilitate Passport Making Services on Panggang Island

JAKARTA - A number of people on Panggang Island, Thousand Islands Regency, North Jakarta, are enthusiastic about getting the integrated immigration service on the go (PEDULI) service carried out by the Tanjung Priok Class I Immigration Office.

The activity is a collaboration between the Tanjung Priok Class I Immigration Office and the Thousand Islands Administrative District's Integrated Investment and Service Management Unit (UP PMPTSP).

"We provide passport making services and immigration information," said Head of the Tanjung Priok Immigration Office, Imam Setiawan when confirmed, Saturday, August 8, 2026.

According to Imam, the presence of this service is aimed at making it easier for the public to access information. In addition, it brings passport services closer quickly, easily, and close to their homes.

"Especially for residents who are domiciled in the archipelago with limited access to transportation to service offices," he said.

He said that participation in the Peduli Pulau activity was a manifestation of the commitment of the Tanjung Priok Class I Immigration Office in supporting fast, easy, and inclusive public services through synergy between agencies.

"People in the archipelago have had limited access," he said.

According to him, this activity is one of the tangible forms of synergy between government agencies in providing public services that are closer, responsive, and oriented towards community needs.
