Just 2 Weeks of Selling, Narcotics Bandar Type Etomidate and Sabu Arrested by Penjaringan Polsektro

JAKARTA - A dealer of Etomidate and Sabu with the initials B was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Metro Penjaringan Police, North Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested at a rented house along with a number of drug evidence.

Kanit Reskrim Metro Penjaringan Police, Kompol Sampson Sosa Hutapea said that the evidence seized was 111 packages of narcotics of various sizes and 1.24 grams of methamphetamine.

"We made arrests and searches at the perpetrator's house until we found a number of evidence," said Kompol Sampson when confirmed, Saturday, August 8.

He said officers found 1.24 grams of methamphetamine in four plastic clips in the wallet and a digital scale on top of a mattress pile.

Then a tote bag containing a bag containing 80 cartridges containing etomidate liquid was found. Then a box of cigarettes containing 4 plastic bags containing four cartridges.

Furthermore, 3 red plastic bags containing cartridges, 5 blue packages, 2 packages containing 17 black plastic cartridges containing etomidate were found in the cabinets in the house.

He said the perpetrator with the initials B obtained etomidate by buying directly from another perpetrator in the Ambon Village area, West Jakarta.

"This perpetrator admitted that he had sold this item for two weeks and the proceeds from the sale were used for daily life," he said.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 jo Article 119 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 609 paragraph 1 letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion.
