The Palace Responds to the Potential Use of Nuclear Technology to the Surprise Issue of the National Police Chief

Jakarta - The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi answered a number of questions from journalists at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, August 7. One of the things he answered was related to the development of nuclear technology for a number of needs.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto listened to an explanation from BRIN regarding the potential of uranium in Indonesia that could be used for a number of needs, ranging from energy and health.

According to Prasetyo, one of the possibilities being studied is the use of nuclear power for power plants. Prasetyo Hadi also answered questions related to the results of BRIN research which was requested by President Prabowo Subianto to be immediately followed up.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said Prabowo from the beginning paid attention to the mastery of science and technology. Another issue answered by Prasetyo Hadi was related to the Presidential Letter (Surpres) regarding the replacement of the Kaplori. Prasetyo denied the news that President Prabowo Subianto had sent a Presidential Letter or Surpres regarding the replacement of the National Police Chief.

Another thing that Prasetyo Hadi answered related to the Governor of Bank Indonesia. The news circulating that the Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia, Destry Damayanti, has been considered by President Prabowo to occupy the position of Governor of Bank Indonesia.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the process of determining the BI Governor candidate is still ongoing. According to Prasetyo, Prabowo has discussed a lot in recent times, received opinions, and asked for input before determining the name to be submitted to the DPR.

Prasetyo Hadi also answered about the issue that is circulating strongly regarding President Prabowo immediately carrying out a cabinet reshuffle.
