President Prabowo Subianto's Commitment to Improve the Quality of Indonesian Human Resources

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto has a strong desire to be able to improve the quality of human resources (HR) of the Indonesian people. This was conveyed by President Prabowo when receiving the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) at the Central Courtyard of the State Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, August 7.

According to President Prabowo, mastery of science and technology is the key to a nation's progress. The government has also strengthened investment in the education sector through the development of flagship schools, strengthening research, and cooperation with the world's best universities to produce superior human resources and global competitiveness.

In his direction, the President emphasized that the main foundation for mastering science and technology is a strong education system.

President Prabowo also emphasized that the government must dare to look at the condition of Indonesia objectively, including various challenges that are still faced in the field of education, as a basis for continuing to make improvements.

As a concrete step, President Prabowo revealed that the government is preparing the construction of flagship schools that will recruit the best students from across Indonesia.

The school will implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to have standards equivalent to the best schools in the world, so that its graduates are able to compete and be accepted at world-class universities.

In addition to building flagship schools, President Prabowo also encourages the presence of the world's best universities to cooperate with universities in Indonesia, both through joint programs and other forms of partnerships. According to President Prabowo, these steps are long-term investments in improving the quality of national education.
