Febrie Adriansyah TPPU Case Rolling, Kejagung Investigating the Trail of Affiliated Parties

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) investigators through Team Nine are investigating the Febrie Adriansyah case by examining witnesses in the investigation of alleged money laundering (TPPU) crimes that ensnared the former young attorney general for special criminal cases (jampidsus). Of the two witnesses scheduled to attend on Wednesday, July 29, only one person fulfilled the investigator's call.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said that the witness who attended the initials ATW, who is known to be a legal advisor to the party suspected of being affiliated with Don Ritto (DR).

"Only one witness attended the call," said Anang Supriatna in his statement, Wednesday, July 29.

According to Anang, the examination of witnesses was carried out to complete the evidence and strengthen the evidence in the TPPU Febrie Adriansyah case, which is currently still being developed by investigators.

Meanwhile, another witness who did not meet the call will be rescheduled to be examined. Investigators ensure that the investigation process continues in accordance with procedures.

"The investigation team is still conducting an in-depth investigation, namely the examination of witnesses to strengthen the evidence," he concluded.

Previously, on Friday, July 24, the Attorney General's Office officially named Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in the alleged money laundering case. The determination of the suspect status was carried out after investigators issued a new investigation order (sprindik).

The Sprindik has the number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026 as the legal basis for investigating the TPPU case.

The issuance of a new sprindik was carried out after the Attorney General's Office received the transfer of the case file and evidence from the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri). The evidence transferred includes gold weighing 74 kilograms and foreign exchange worth hundreds of billions of rupiah.

In addition to issuing a new sprindik related to the alleged TPPU Febrie Adriansyah, the Attorney General's Office has previously issued three investigation orders after receiving the transfer of handling the case from the National Police. This step is said to be part of the synergy between law enforcement in investigating the ongoing case.

Until now, the Attorney General's investigators are still continuing to develop the investigation by examining a number of witnesses and tracing the involvement of various parties suspected of having a relationship with the case. The deepening process is carried out to complete the evidence as well as ensure that the construction of the case can be proven in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
