JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunda Kelapa Police Sector arrested two dealers of methamphetamine with the initials MR alias Konde (29) and WF alias Wendy alias Ncek (32) at a rented house in Gang Haji Jikih, RT 02/RW 01, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

The two suspects were arrested on Thursday, July 23, 2026. MR is known to be a resident of Jalan Rawa Kuning, RT 08/RW 07, Cakung, East Jakarta. Meanwhile, WF is listed as a resident of Jalan Pisangan Baru, RT 07/RW 06, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta.

Kanit Reskrim Polsek Kawasan Sunda Kelapa AKP Eri Suroto said that from the hands of the two suspects, the police confiscated drugs with a total weight of more than 107 grams.

"The evidence seized was 10 clear clips containing suspected narcotics of the type of methamphetamine with a total weight of 1.95 grams belonging to MR, one package of methamphetamine weighing 100.50 grams belonging to WF, and another package of methamphetamine weighing 4.94 grams belonging to WF," said AKP Eri Suroto to reporters, Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

In addition to narcotics, the police also secured four mobile phones, cash from the sale of methamphetamine amounting to Rp. 1.8 million belonging to WF and Rp. 64 thousand belonging to MR, two digital scales, two wallets, and one empty plastic clip bag.

AKP Eri explained that the disclosure of the case began with information from the public regarding the circulation of methamphetamine in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta.

"Based on this information, the members conducted an investigation and observation until they managed to identify MR as one of the dealers," he said.

When arrested, the police found 10 packets of methamphetamine stored in the left front pocket of MR's pants.

During the initial examination, MR admitted that the methamphetamine was obtained from WF. This information was then developed until the police arrested WF in a different location.

During the search of WF, officers found one large package and one small package of methamphetamine that had not yet been distributed.

The two suspects and all the evidence were then taken to the Sunda Kelapa Area Police to undergo further legal proceedings.

For their actions, the two were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and/or Article 609 paragraph (1) letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP).
