Arriving at the KPK Red and White Building after OTT, Anom Regent Widiyantoro Bungkam's Wife

JAKARTA - The wife of Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro, Noor Faizah Maenofie, arrived at the Red and White Building of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), South Jakarta. She was one of those taken after the hand-in-hand operation (OTT) on Tuesday, July 28.

From field observation, Noor arrived at around 19.06 WIB with a number of other parties using a red bus escorted by police from the Pemalang Police.

Upon arrival at the KPK's Merah Putih Building, Noor was immediately escorted by officers to the examination room through the back door. He chose to remain silent when asked questions by reporters about the silent operation.

In addition to Noor, officers also brought Pemalang Regency Secretary Bagus Sutopo and Head of the Pemalang Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Joko Tri Asmoro to undergo an examination.

Meanwhile, Anom has already been at the KPK office. He has been undergoing an examination since Tuesday evening after being secured in Jakarta.

Previously, the KPK again held an OTT and secured 21 people in the Central Java and Jakarta regions. One of those secured was Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro.

"One of the people who were secured in Jakarta was the Regent of Pemalang, who then arrived at the KPK Red and White building last night for intensive examination," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 29.

Budi then detailed that a total of 21 people were secured in the action. Of this number, 12 were taken to Jakarta.

"For the other seven people, six from Pemalang and one from Purworejo, it is likely that this afternoon until the afternoon, yes, will arrive at the KPK Red and White building for further examination," he said.

Budi has not detailed the actions of the parties who were caught in OTT. He only said that there was allegedly a transfer of money related to the project and the sale and purchase of positions.

The team in the field also found a number of evidence, including money of around Rp2 billion.

"Whether it is later the construction of the case is bribery or extortion related to projects in Pemalang Regency, of course it will be explained and discussed in the expose," he said.

"In addition, there is also an alleged receipt made by the regent related to the sale and purchase of positions in the Pemalang Regency Government," concluded Budi.
