The Ukrainian Headquarters for the Coordination of Prisoners of War said that 501 bodies repatriated were returned as part of humanitarian repatriation efforts, quoted from Anadolu (16/7).

The headquarters also said the repatriation was coordinated by several Ukrainian government agencies, including the Ukrainian Security Service.

Meanwhile, Russia's state news agency TASS, citing military correspondent Alexander Kots, said Russia had transferred 501 bodies to Ukraine and received the bodies of 31 Russian soldiers in return.
